St. Thomas Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Cretin-Derham Hall skirted past St. Thomas Academy 54-51 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cretin-Derham Hall since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
