Basketball Recap: Wirt County Comes Up Short

Wirt County lost against Ravenswood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wirt County Tigers lost 58-33 to the Ravenswood Red Devils. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Wirt County's record is now 3-7. As for Ravenswood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Wirt County will challenge Parkersburg Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Parkersburg Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. As for Ravenswood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-34 win against Tyler on the 25th.
