Softball Recap: Rockwood Takes a Loss

Rockwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rhea County Golden Eagles, falling 17-2.

Rockwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rhea County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Coming up, Rockwood will challenge Roane County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Rockwood's pitchers better be ready for this one: Roane County has averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Rhea County, they will take on Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
