Soccer Recap: Cook Comes Up Short

Cook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against the Georgia Christian Generals, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Cook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 456th, while Georgia Christian are ranked 118th).

Cook's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15-1. As for Georgia Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Cook has already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Ware County on the 18th. As for Georgia Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Sherwood Christian Academy on the 24th.
