Baseball Recap: Ridgewood Comes Up Short

If Ridgewood was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Passaic last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Maroons came up short against the Passaic County Tech Bulldogs on Friday, falling 8-1. The Maroons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Passaic County Tech, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Ridgewood and Passaic County Tech will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Maroons are set to take on their familiar foe Ramapo at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Passaic County Tech will challenge rival Bergen Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
