Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Garfield Community Learning Center

If North wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Garfield Community Learning Center, they should've done a better job of containing Rayshawn Hamilton. The Garfield Community Learning Center Golden Rams simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the North Vikings 92-20 thanks in part to Hamilton, who went 12 for 21 on his way to 27 points and eight steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Brima Barry, who went 7 of 12 en route to 16 points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The victory was the third in a row for Garfield Community Learning Center, bringing their record for this year to 10-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for North, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garfield Community Learning Center will host Firestone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North has already played their next matchup (against Ellet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
