Basketball Recap: Wichita Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Wichita Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 victory over the Mercy Culture Prep Royals on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Stars also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2018.

Wichita Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Mercy Culture Prep, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Wichita Christian will venture away from home to take on Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mercy Culture Prep, they will host Nazarene Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mercy Culture Prep is facing Nazarene Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Nazarene Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
