Soccer Recap: Lower Dauphin Takes a Loss

Lower Dauphin fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Hershey on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Lower Dauphin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Hershey are ranked 16th).

This is the second loss in a row for Lower Dauphin and nudges their season record down to 10-5-2. As for Hershey, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1-1.

Lower Dauphin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Northern York on the 9th. As for Hershey, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Palmyra on the 9th.
