Basketball Recap: Arthur-Okaw Christian Skates Past Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family with Ease

Arthur-Okaw Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game with ease, bagging a 69-34 win over Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Conquering Riders also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Arthur-Okaw Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kedrick Chupp, who went 5-for-6 to rack up 13 points. That's the most points Chupp has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cody Kuhns, who scored 13 points and three steals.

Looking ahead, Arthur-Okaw Christian will take on Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aurora Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
