Football Recap: Millikan Comes Up Short

After soaring to 63 points the game before, Millikan was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against the Woodrow Wilson Bruins, falling 30-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered against the Bruins since October 21, 2016.

Even if they lost, Millikan's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Dominic Palma was especially locked on to Woodrow Wilson's QB and sacked him twice.

Jemel Grigsby had a dynamite game For Woodrow Wilson., rushing for 120 yards and two scores on only seven carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 67 yards. Another player making a difference was Kyle Harris, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one TD.

Millikan has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Woodrow Wilson, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
