Softball Recap: Pine Lake Prep Pride vs. North Stanly Comets
Pine Lake Prep had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the North Stanly Comets on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Pride, who have now won three contests in a row.

Emery Jensen was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Brynn Lehnerer was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Emma Rette, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
