Austin is 7-2 against Irvin since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

If Austin beats Irvin with 35 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Panthers claimed a resounding 35-7 win over Clint. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Irvin blew past Mountain View, posting a 42-6 win.

Irvin had a senior duo take command as Dallas Medina threw for 285 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes and Michael Salazar picked up 128 receiving yards and four TDs. Medina's passing game has become a key predictor of the Rockets' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

Austin's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Irvin, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Austin has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 362.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Irvin struggles in that department as they've been averaging 150.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
