High Point is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Vernon just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 45-26 bruising from the Vikings.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Academy of St. Elizabeth). They came out on top against Wallkill Valley by a score of 38-29 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Academy of St. Elizabeth's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for High Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

High Point took their victory against Academy of St. Elizabeth in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 53-31. Will High Point repeat their success, or does Academy of St. Elizabeth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
