Recap: Eden Raiders vs. Kennedy Bears
Even though the Kennedy Bears scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, the Eden Raiders still came out on top. Eden strolled past Kennedy with points to spare, taking the game 77-59. Given Eden's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Kennedy is ranked 761st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Taesyn Slating was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chris Krencik, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Eden's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Kennedy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Eden will head out on the road to face off against Global Concepts at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kennedy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cleveland Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
