Baseball Recap: Mayde Creek's Win Ends 16-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mayde Creek). They came out on top against the Morton Ranch Mavericks by a score of 14-10 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Mayde Creek's win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-16-1. As for Morton Ranch, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-19.

Coincidentally, Mayde Creek and Morton Ranch will both be playing Cinco Ranch the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mavericks will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th.
