Pottsville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Shamokin Area Indians on Friday, falling 34-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crimson Tide of the 27-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.
