            The Clarence Red Devils will head out to  take on the Williamsville East Flames  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The  squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Clarence has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Williamsville East will arrive with three straight  victories.
Lancaster hit Clarence with a seven-run sixth inning  on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Red Devils fell  8-5 to the Legends. Red Devils fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Legends since  on Friday.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Williamsville East). They came out on top against Amherst Central by a score of  12-7  on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
 Ava Wendell was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Wendell is  crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   snagged at least one every time she's  taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was  Lucy White, who  went 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Williamsville East  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
 Clarence's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Williamsville East, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
 Clarence came out on top in a nail-biter against Williamsville East when the teams last played  back in May of 2024, sneaking past  1-0. Do  the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Flames turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
