Borah won the last time they faced Timberline, and Kya Davis did her part to make sure it happened again. The Borah Lions snuck past the Timberline Wolves with a 56-52 win on Tuesday thanks to Davis, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 21 points and eight boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Nakiyia Percell, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 15 points and six rebounds. What's more, she also posted two assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Borah is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Timberline, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Borah will take on Coeur d'Alene at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th. One thing working in Coeur d'Alene's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games. As for Timberline, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-40 defeat against Capital on the 13th.
