Baseball Recap: Mount Tabor Takes a Loss

Mount Tabor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the East Forsyth Eagles, falling 14-1. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Mount Tabor's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for East Forsyth, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Looking ahead, East Forsyth will challenge Southwest Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mount Tabor will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles faces off against the Cowboys, they'll take on Mount Tabor again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
