Basketball Recap: Petersburg Beats Meadowbrook for Their Fourth Straight Win

Petersburg had won three straight games and Jay'Vion Threatt did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Petersburg Crimson Wave walked away with a 63-56 win over the Meadowbrook Monarchs thanks in part to Threatt, who went 7 for 12 en route to 23 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Petersburg's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Meadowbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
