Softball Recap: Red Land Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Red Land won the last time they faced Bishop McDevitt and things went their way on Monday too. The Patriots blew past the Crusaders 11-5. Considering the Patriots have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Red Land pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Bishop McDevitt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Red Land will head out on the road to square off against Northeastern at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Bishop McDevitt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
