The home team had won the previous five meetings between Holy Family and Frederick, and Holy Family kept the tradition alive. The Tigers put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted against the Golden Eagles since October 4, 2018.

Holy Family never let Frederick on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Caroline Staff, who had 13 digs and two assists.

Holy Family was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive contests.

The win snapped Holy Family's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-14 record. As for Frederick, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Holy Family didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Evergreen on the 1st. Frederick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
