Hamilton Heights lost against Westfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Huskies fell 8-4 to the Shamrocks. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McKenzie Jackson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Taya Trosper was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one double.

Hamilton Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Westfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Hamilton Heights will square off against Logansport at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Westfield, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Zionsville at 6:00 p.m. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Shamrocks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
