Baseball Preview: North Plainfield Canucks vs. South Amboy Governors
The North Plainfield Canucks will challenge the South Amboy Governors at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
North Plainfield took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against South River, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Canucks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Rams on Monday.

He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk).
