Football Game Preview: St. Henry Redskins vs. Minster Wildcats

The St. Henry Redskins will venture away from home to square off against the Minster Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Henry's defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so Minster's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Friday, St. Henry made easy work of Anna and carried off a 28-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Redskins, who have now won three contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 49 points the game before, Minster was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Coldwater 34-7. The Wildcats have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The win made it two in a row for St. Henry and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.5 points over those games. As for Minster, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

St. Henry took a serious blow against Minster when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 42-14. Can the Redskins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
