Louisburg waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Oxford Prep Griffins by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-19, 24-26, 25-15, 25-12.

Kendall Gleason paced Louisburg's offense, picking up 16 kills. Gleason got some help from Kasi Harrison and her 33 assists. Finally, Charleigh Tart kept Louisburg's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Louisburg's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Oxford Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Louisburg will square off against Southern Nash at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oxford Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Eno River Academy on the 22nd.
