Highmore/Harrold is a perfect 10-0 against Lower Brule since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m.

Highmore/Harrold is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since September 18th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Wolsey-Wessington. The Pirates have struggled against the Warbirds recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Lower Brule was able to grind out a solid win over St. Francis Indian on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Sioux in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Lower Brule had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-18, 25-14, 25-22.

Lower Brule's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Highmore/Harrold, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Highmore/Harrold took their victory against Lower Brule in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
