Serena won the last time they faced Somonauk/Leland and things went their way on Monday too. The Serena Huskers walked away with a 50-37 win over the Somonauk/Leland Bobcats. Given the Huskers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 509th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Serena has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points over those games. As for Somonauk/Leland, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.
