Volleyball Recap: Olpe Eagles vs. Waverly Bulldogs
Olpe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Waverly Bulldogs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
While Olpe ultimately came up short, they really made Waverly work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25.
Olpe's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Waverly, their win bumped their record up to 4-15-1.
Olpe will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Flinthills at 5:00 p.m. on October 14th. Waverly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
