Soccer Recap: Johansen Triumphs

Johansen kept a clean sheet against Beyer on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Beyer Patriots. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Patriots back in December of 2024, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Johansen's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4-2 and their overall record up to 8-7-2. As for Beyer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Johansen will head out to take on Ceres at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Johansen's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Beyer, they will be playing at home against Livingston at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Livingston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
