Football Recap: Grapeland Takes a Loss

Grapeland lost against Bremond back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sandies took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bremond to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tank Scott, who rushed for 133 yards and a pair of TDs. Tyriq Scott was another key back, rushing for 138 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Grapeland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bremond, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Grapeland will be playing at home against Frankston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bremond, they are taking a road trip to take on Moody at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
