Basketball Game Preview: Clements Colts vs. Lexington Golden Bears

The Clements Colts just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Lexington Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Clements will head into Thursday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were dealt a 78-46 loss at the hands of West Point. The Colts' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 47-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Holly Pond. The match marked the Golden Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Clements' defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Everything went Clements' way against Lexington in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Clements made off with a 61-35 victory. Will Clements repeat their success, or does Lexington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
