Recap: Foothill vs. El Diamante
With a playoff game on the line, the Foothill Trojans rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Miners. Winning may never get old, but Foothill sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
They hit El Diamante with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Josue Chavez,
Benjamin Davila, and
Jose Carrillo.
Foothill pushed their record up to 19-5-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those seven games. As for El Diamante, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7-6.
Foothill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. El Diamante also has no future games currently scheduled.
