Baseball Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Vallejo Redhawks, falling 16-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Wednesday.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Vallejo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Richmond wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-5 loss against Ygnacio Valley on the 29th. As for Vallejo, they have also already played their next matchup, a 16-3 defeat against San Lorenzo on the 1st.
