With a playoff win on the line, Tipton rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 22-12 victory over the Tyrone Bobcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

The win (which was Tipton's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for Tyrone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
