Volleyball Recap: Field Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Model Secondary School for the Deaf

Field faced Model Secondary School for the Deaf in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Field sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-15, 22-25, 25-12, 24-26, 15-6.

Field now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-16 record this season.

Field will look to defend their home court on Thursday against E.L. Haynes at 5:00 p.m. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against McLean on the 22nd.
