Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lake Mary walked away with it. They never let the Timber Creek Wolves onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. The Rams' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ava Mckay, who's now up to 16 this season.

Lake Mary's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six contests. As for Timber Creek, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1-3.

Looking ahead, Lake Mary will square off against Winter Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Winter Park's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Timber Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
