Wausau West not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the D.C. Everest Evergreens. The Warriors were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Evergreens, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

Wausau West never let D.C. Everest on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-21.

Ella Bohlin paced Wausau West's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bohlin got some help from Paige Ives and her 15 assists. Sophia Ngo controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Wausau West and bumps their season record up to 4-7. As for D.C. Everest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Wausau West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Edgar on the 13th. As for D.C. Everest, they will take on Marshfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
