Holton faced Rock Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Mustangs. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

Tinley Wilson paced Holton's offense, picking up six kills. Wilson were helped by Faith Olberding and Kinley Fluke, who contributed seven assists each.
