Wayne is a perfect 3-0 against Madison since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Blue Devils will be taking part in a tournament against the Dragons at 10:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Wayne came up short against Cedar Catholic and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

Wayne was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Madison came up short against Twin River on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Dragons have suffered against the Titans since September 22, 2022.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-14.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Wayne, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Wayne beat Madison 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2019. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
