Softball Recap: Klein Oak Comes Up Short

Klein Oak was the 16-0 winner over Stratford when they last played one another back in April of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Klein Oak Panthers fell 7-2 to the Stratford Spartans on Thursday.

Klein Oak got a good showing from Reagan Eldred, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Klein Oak saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Lacour, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Klein Oak's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Tigers at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stratford, they will square off against North Shore at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
