Baseball Recap: John Champe Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

John Champe barely beat Freedom the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by seven runs or more this season.

Trevor Casad looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

At the plate, John Champe saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Warner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most hits Warner has posted since back in April of 2024. Another was Guy Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
