Charlotte is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-52 win over Manatee. Given the Fightin' Tarpons' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 280th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Palmetto strolled past Parrish Community with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 57-40.

Palmetto is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Charlotte, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6.
