Football Recap: Ridgewood Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Ridgewood's offense. They came up short against the Northern Highlands Highlanders on Friday, falling 21-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Maroons were not able to get on the board.

Gavin McCrone threw for 47 yards on six of 11 attempts. On the ground, Brody Perrapato rushed for 34 yards.

Ridgewood now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Northern Highlands, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Ridgewood will square off against Wayne Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northern Highlands, they will challenge Ramapo at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The Highlanders will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
