Preview: Milford vs. Dartmouth
The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. On Friday Milford will take on Dartmouth at 7:00 PM. Milford are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Dartmouth are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
The struggle was real when Milford and Stoughton clashed last Friday, but Milford ultimately edged out the opposition 18-15. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
Meanwhile, Dartmouth ended up a good deal behind Barnstable when they played, losing 21-40. Dartmouth were down by 14-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Milford's victory lifted them to 3-4 while Dartmouth's defeat dropped them down to 1-6. We'll see if Milford's success rolls on or if Dartmouth are able to steal their positive momentum.
