Basketball Recap: Spencer Comes Up Short

Spencer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 47-26 to the Loyal Greyhounds. The Rockets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Greyhounds earlier this season, when they won 41-37.

Spencer now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Loyal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spencer will square off against Colby at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Spencer is facing Colby at the right time seeing as Colby is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Loyal, they will challenge Neillsville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neillsville will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Loyal surely won't give up without a fight.
