Volleyball Recap: South Paulding Takes a Loss

South Paulding was the 2-0 winner over McEachern when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Paulding started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-18, 15-8.

South Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for McEachern, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

When South Paulding and McEachern next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Spartans will take on Providence Christian Academy and their three-game winning streak at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, McEachern will try to stop Central's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
