Baseball Game Preview: Phoenix Firebirds vs. Skaneateles Lakers

Phoenix came out on top against Skaneateles on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Firebirds walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Lakers.

For Skaneateles' part, Nathan Latreille spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on three hits.

On the hitting side, Skaneateles saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hugh Carroll, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Another was Shea Musso, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base.
