Baseball Recap: Spruce Mountain Takes a Loss

Spruce Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hall-Dale Bulldogs, falling 11-2. Phoenix fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bulldogs since Tuesday.

Spruce Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Hall-Dale, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Spruce Mountain will face off against Oak Hill at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hall-Dale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
