Fairview has gone 7-2 against Prairie View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Fairview Knights will square off against the Prairie View Thunderhawks at 8:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Fairview is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Gateway: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Fairview blew Gateway out of the water with a 67-34 final score. The Knights pushed the score to 50-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Olympians had little chance of recovering from.

Fairview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Ochs, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 13 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Spencer Brown, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 20 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prairie View). They strolled past Ponderosa with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 65-50.

The victory made it two in a row for Fairview and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Prairie View, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Fairview took their victory against Prairie View in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 68-46. Will Fairview repeat their success, or does Prairie View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
